  Booked this property in April this year and immediately paid a deposit, as requested. Paid the
  second payment a few weeks before our expected one week stay in July. Both of which were con
  firmed by Flipkey. I also contacted the owner directly as her telephone number ws given by
  Flipkey. Days before our expected visit for one week, I again contacted Patti, the owner to find
  out that we were expected to bring linen and towels. I was told there is no wifi or television. We
  therefore arranged to bring our computer with DVDs. We drove 4 1/2 hours to the site only to be
  told by the owner that she had double booked us with another couple and there was no where for
  us to stay. She would give us our money back but had nothing else to offer us except an old
  camper that was owned by her friend which had no aircon and the temperature that day was
  due to hit 28 degreesl. Patti had the gall to suggest we come back the next week or even next
  year. This was an unbelievable experience! We had planned this holiday, taken time off and
  purchased frozen items which now had to be refrozen, etc. We proceeded to drive back home
  to Oakville, Ontario. This was another 4 1/2 drive. Never again! The camp site, which is what
  it was, looked run down and not to our standard. We would have stayed but on reflection would
  not have booked this place if we had seen it ourselves before booking. We contacted Flipkey
  to advise them ASAP and thank God they were able to give us something to compensate in
  some small way for all of the inconvenience and spoilt holiday. All we can say is, very poor
  management and not a good deal for just about anyone. This was an experience we would
  not wish on anyone. Buyer beware!
